 o: A Journey through Silence to Sound: Kate Kennedy examines the relations
 hip between cellists and their instruments\, exploring stories of creation
 \, loss\, and rediscovery. She traces the lives of notable cellists such a
 s Lise Cristiani\, Pal Hermann\, and Anita Lasker-Wallfisch\, while also s
 haring the author’s own adventures\, from playing a cello-turned-beehive
  to creating a new hybrid cello for youth orchestras in Uruguay and Harlem
