DESCRIPTION:About\nMedicine is taught in vignettes\, and whilst this can d
 efinitely be helpful\, experience teaches that there is no one way a patie
 nt with a specific condition presents. ‘Untold Stories in Healthcare’ 
 is all about shedding light on experiences that don’t get discussed enou
 gh: whether it is stigmas and taboos\, patients who don’t fit into the 
 ‘classical’ symptomatology\, or amplifying marginalised voices. Consid
 ering these\, we will explore how our medical practice can change for the 
 better.\n\nSpeakers\nOur speakers will be drawing on their wealth of exper
 ience to discuss crucial neglected topics across the spectrum of healthcar
 e\, whether it be adolescent mental health\, challenging sexism and gender
 ed health stigmas\, rare diseases that are overlooked\, or even confrontin
 g our own professional dilemmas in a struggling healthcare system. The con
 ference will feature a reflective workshop on changing medical practice fo
 r the better. Selected students will have the opportunity to present their
