DESCRIPTION:Christoffer’s research focuses on using mathematical models
to study brain diseases. He uses tools from dynamical systems theory\, n
etwork science\, and Bayesian inference to understand the progression of
disease and its impact on brain function. This includes modeling the sprea
ding of toxic proteins throughout the brain in Alzheimer’s disease\, mod
eling the impact of brain tumors on neuronal firing\, and investigating th
e roots of regional vulnerability in Parkinson’s disease.\n\nSpeakers:\n
