DESCRIPTION:*Jenny Andersson* has been a scholar with the Centre National 
 de la Recherche Scientifique and a researcher at Sciences Po in Paris\, bu
 t is now Professor of the History and Science at Uppsala University\, Swed
 en. She has worked on the intellectual history of contemporary social demo
 cracy\, and the history of future research and concepts of the future in t
 he post-war era. Her most recent book\, _The Future of the World_\, was de
 voted to the post-war field of 'futurology' and 'futures studies'. She is 
 currently leading an international project on 'Neoliberalism in the Nordic
