DESCRIPTION:\nStatus: This talk has been cancelled\nClinical Practice Rese
 arch Datalink (CPRD) collects anonymised patient data from a network of GP
  practices across the UK. Primary care data are linked to a range of other
  health related data to provide a longitudinal\, representative UK populat
 ion health dataset.\n\nThis session will describe and illustrate the struc
 ture and complexity of the data\, discuss the strengths and limitations of
  the data\, describe how to manipulate the data\, and explain how the NDPH
  CPRD Team can work with researchers on potential studies.\n\nTopics to be
  covered\nStructure of the CPRD databases\nIndicators of data quality\nIde
 ntifying and deriving exposures\, covariates and outcomes of interest\n\nL
 earning Objectives\nUnderstand the structure of the CPRD databases\nAware 
 of data cleaning measures to ensure data quality\nAware of ways to identif
 y exposures\, covariates and outcomes of interest\n\nPre requisite – Att
 endance to the “An introduction to Clinical Practice Research Datalink (
 CPRD) data” session is recommended.\n\nAudience-\nNDPH staff and student
 s who are intending to submit or have submitted a protocol for a study usi
