The intersections between COVID-19 and `climate change

The COVID-19 pandemic has turned most of the world upside down in a few months. Climate change seems like a faraway issue now, but it is similarly an issue of global importance that requires a rethink of how our societies are structured. This talk will explore a number of physical intersections between a pandemic virus and climate change – this includes how climate affects virus spread, how the changes to our daily lives affect climate, what models of climate and pandemics have in common, and how we understand uncertainty in models.
