On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

How do we reach out to different communities? How do we break down the barriers to our universities, our services, our collections? How do we address issues from our histories? How do make people feel at home?
Practitioners from university services – libraries, museum, staff and student services (names and roles) – talk about how they deliver inclusive services and have overcome some of the barriers they have faced.
Join us to hear about the Bodleian Libraries’ ‘We Are Our History’ project, which has addressed issues of race and Empire in our collections, and considered impact on services and infrastructure. Also come to hear different approaches to diversity from different providers and discuss how we can make our services more inclusive.
The event will be followed by a drinks’ reception to which all attendees are welcome.
Booking is recommended – we look forward to seeing you soon!
