Emily Berry has been described as ‘one of an increasingly distinct generation of poets to emerge in the UK since the early 2000’s’, her poetry recognised for its ‘vividness, peculiarity and precision’ (Poetry Archive) as well as emotional sophistication. Winner of the Forward Prize, Hawthornden Prize and Eric Gregory Award, she has authored two books of poetry – Dear Boy and Stranger, Baby. She is currently also the editor of The Poetry Review, the UK’s most widely read poetry magazine, and a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
