What’s going on in the climate talks? UNFCCC Debrief Session
Status: This talk is in preparation - details may change
As countries move to finalize a new global climate treaty in Paris in December 2015, an increasing number of the Oxford community are participating in and engaging in the negotiations. Benito Müller (Convener International Climate Policy Research, Environmental Change Institute) and Thomas Hale (Associate Professor, Blavatnik School of Government) are convening a University-wide discussion forum on the international climate change negotiations. The idea is for students and staff of the University interested in the UNFCCC negotiations to get together periodically to discuss relevant issues.

We will next meet on Monday, June 15, the day after the close of the next round of negotiations (June 1-14, Bonn). We will here reports back Oxford community members who will have been in Bonn, and will discuss the state of play in the process.
